The Nelson Male Voice Choir begins a new year on Monday 25th January, at the Reformed Church, Enner Glynn. 6.45 pm start.
We are delighted to retain our wonderful music team of conductor Andrea Hamilton, and pianists Pauline Boyd and Susan Stokes.
Some long-serving members have finally retired, and the choir will welcome keen singers to take their places, especially first tenors and basses. Music, tuition and uniforms are provided, and the weekly teamwork soon develops into friendships. Singing is exhilarating and fun!
The Choir will attend the Festival of Choirs at Ashburton, Canterbury in early June, and perform a number of concerts en route. Following the success of its 2014 CD, there is likely to be a new recording in 2016, so an exciting year is ahead!
